Creativity is the key to unlocking our own inner peace and happiness. And photography is the most powerful creative key that we all have access to.
It’s so powerful it transcends all other forms of art, science, language, time, and life itself.
In a split second, an image has this magical ability to alter a belief, and opinion, and idea, about absolutely anything, instantly, forever.
This is because it consumes us, mind and body, as it draws us into the present moment and connects us to a story. This is what we all love about photography.

Hi, I'm Danielle
…the one always smiling behind the camera.
Years ago, I set out to explore the world with a camera in my hands and a backpack on my shoulders. Along the way, I discovered something unexpected: photography didn’t just document my journey—it transformed the way I experienced it. Every image became an invitation to slow down, notice the extraordinary in the ordinary, and tell stories with purpose.
Today, I bring that same philosophy to every portrait, brand session, and photography lesson, helping others discover the power of photography to preserve what matters, unlock creativity, and see life through a new lens—because that’s what it means to Live Wonderful.
Your Central Florida Photographer
Danielle Hanusek is an award-winning, internationally published commercial photographer and educator based in Central Florida.
At a young age, her love of travel, nature, and art sparked her passion for photography. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Lynn University in 2009, she began her photography career at a luxury portrait studio in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Realizing that the corporate world was not for her, she traveled abroad to pursue her passion for photography, volunteering in more than 10 countries while living out of a backpack. During this time, she founded Live Wonderful, a creative photography company with a mission to empower all to capture their stories with passion and purpose.
My Journey
A Life of Adventure
Growing up on a farm in Maryland, I was always drawn to nature and dreaming of adventures. I was hit by the travel bug at a young age and knew I’d explore the world whenever possible. In college, I pursued Graphics and Visual Communications with a minor in Photography, which paved the way for my photography career.
I immediately snagged a great job managing and shooting for a high-end portrait studio, and for four years I was immersed in capturing everything from families, seniors, and babies, to events, weddings, and businesses.
Life seemed great behind the lens, but…
Something was missing.
I craved more purpose and joy in my work and life.
The Turning Point
As I continued to travel and explore, I started taking steps toward a sustainable, minimalist lifestyle and felt a profound transformation during one of my longest travel adventures through Europe and Asia in 2014.
That’s when I founded Live Wonderful.
Its sole purpose is to inspire others to live in wonder always.
Today
Now in Central Florida, I focus on helping families preserve meaningful memories, helping businesses tell authentic brand stories, mentoring beginner photographers, and, of course, capturing adventures every time I travel.
With over 18 years of professional experience around the globe, I specialize in imagery that’s expertly crafted, authentically bold, and tailored specifically to your unique vision.
I’m not just a photographer.
I’m a conscious storyteller…

Danielle’s work has been published in The Guardian, Slow Flowers Magazine, BuzzFeed, Cityscape Books, and other international and local publications.
She’s presented her work in multiple gallery shows, was named one of the Sony Alpha Female Photographers in 2019, was recognized by Peerspace as the #1 Product Photographer in Orlando in 2022, and was awarded a Color Photography Contest Nominee by reFocus in 2023.
