Our courses are designed for all skill levels, from beginners to those looking to refine their technique. We focus on mastering manual mode and unlocking your creative potential.
No experience is required. Just a camera and a willingness to learn how to tap into your creative side. I will help you every step of the way. So, even if you’ve never turned it on, or your camera has always been on auto, you can join these classes. Actually, your creativity depends on it!
Our courses are also great for intermediate and professional shooters too. Ask us about our advanced classes and mentorships.
Students need a DSLR or mirrorless camera with interchangeable lenses and Manual mode. The camera does not need to be new or expensive, and the course teaches the same essential principles across brands. If you are unsure whether a camera will work, email the brand and model number to hello@livewonderful.com. We can also help you choose a camera for your student and budget.
Your Storyteller’s Journey is a self-paced photography course with 365 days of access. Lessons generally run 2–10 minutes, so students can learn, practice, and revisit lessons on a schedule that works for their family. The optional 12-Week Course & Portfolio Guide offers structure without a fixed deadline.
Currently, we host classes online and on-site in Central Florida. We also travel far and wide to bring our experiences right to you. If you’re outside of the Central Florida area, contact us for a travel quote.
Students can pause and replay the self-paced lessons throughout their 365 days of access. The assignments, Fast Track to Manual Mode Guide, and printable Photo Field Guide offer more ways to practice. Students and parents can email hello@livewonderful.com with questions; student questions receive priority replies. Personalized video critiques are optional and available separately for $50 per session through Step Up.
Yes. Live Wonderful Photography is an approved Step Up For Students provider. Eligible families can reserve the $200 self-paced course through the EMA Marketplace. See the course details and Step Up purchasing steps.
Students as young as 11 or 12 have successfully taken the course, and younger homeschool students may also be ready with occasional parent support. You know your student best. The short video lessons make it easy to watch, learn, and begin practicing with a camera.
We currently do not offer payment plans.
You can save $$ when you book multiple classes (not necessarily on the same date) and/or multiple photographers learning together. To inquire about deposits and discounts, please contact us and we will give you the best price for your photography goals.
Yes, we offer a free video with our #1 photography tip and a Free Masterclass to give you a taste of our teaching approach. There are also many inspiring articles over on our blog to help you get started.
Yes. When you enroll and complete your “Storyteller’s Journey” our self-paced, on-demand beginner photography course, you will receive a certificate of completion with your name on it. For all other learning experiences, certificates are available upon request after completing the course.
